Returning goods of proper quality

The Buyer has the right to refuse the Goods at any time before the delivery of the Goods, and after the delivery of the Goods – within 7 (seven) days. Return of a Product of proper quality is possible if its presentation, consumer properties, as well as a document confirming the fact and conditions of purchase of the specified Product are preserved. Violation of the integrity of the packaging (including sealed cellophane film) is a violation of the presentation of the Goods.
The Buyer does not have the right to refuse a Product of proper quality that has individually defined properties if the specified Product can be used exclusively by the Buyer purchasing it. The buyer has no right to return goods of proper quality.

Claims regarding goods of inadequate quality

A product of inadequate quality means a product that is defective and cannot ensure the performance of its functional qualities. The received product must correspond to the description on the website. Differences in design or design elements from those stated in the description on the website do not constitute a malfunction or non-functionality of the product.

Types of defects in book products:

– Turned, missing, mixed up pages or their incorrect sequence;
– Unprinted pages (“white sheets”), except in cases functionally provided for;
– Defects leading to book block elements falling out: unstitched pages, split block, missing staples;
– Gross defects in the reproduction of text and illustrations on the cover or binding cover: smudging of paint, shedding of foil and other decorative elements, loss of parts of the image;
– Gross defects in the reproduction of text and illustrations in the book-printing block: misprinting, “faint printing”, smearing, double printing;
– Glue leaks inside the book block, leading to gluing of pages, damage to text or illustrations when opening;
– Cut edge of text or illustrations on the strip; the text or illustrations “gone” to the spine;
– Gross defects in the pressing of the laminating film, its peeling and breakthroughs;
– The endpaper is lagging behind the block along the entire gluing strip or partially, the endpapers are torn along the fold;
– Mechanical damage: torn and/or dirty pages, cover, binding cover;
– Contamination of the edged surface of a book block with an area of more than 1 cm² on the top, bottom and/or side surfaces;
– Mechanical tears of the cover at the fold corners of more than 3 mm;
– Scratches leading to damage to the integrity of the varnish coating / laminating film of the cover (if there is no damage to the integrity of the varnish coating / laminating film, the book is not considered defective);
– Jammed cover corners with a fold line of more than 1 cm;
– Incompleteness of complex product items (missing CDs, maps, posters, etc.);
– Violation of the geometry of the book block due to contact with water (swelling);
– Missing, torn/crumpled dust jacket;
– Unevenly adjacent pages, their creases near the spine, bent corners of the pages.

The appearance and completeness of the goods, as well as the completeness of the entire order, must be checked by the recipient at the time of delivery of the goods. When the goods are delivered, you sign the delivery receipt.

If you were given a product of inadequate quality, and this condition was not agreed upon in advance by the seller, you have the right to return or exchange the product within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order.

Due to the peculiarities of the remote sales method, replacement of goods can only be performed by returning goods of inadequate quality and placing a new order for a similar product.

The returned product must be in good condition with the online store barcode and packaging intact.
